Welcome to the Beautiful and peaceful Hutchins Cottages at Acadia

A Great Place to Stay!

On the quiet side of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park in one of our six individually designed cottages located on a wooded ridge above the village of Southwest Harbor.

Rustic, spacious and convenient, each cottage is hidden from the others by trees and foliage for complete privacy, yet it is only a five minute walk to shops, post office, library, restaurants, public school playground and
Island Explorer bus stop.

Each cottage will accommodate up to six people and we supply the sheets and towels as well as blankets and pillows. A crib is available upon request.

The bathrooms have hot and cold running water, bathtubs and showers and electric baseboard heat.

Each kitchen has an electric range and full sized refrigerator as well as a coffee maker and toaster. In addition there are pots and pans, cooking utensils and dishes adequate for a party of six. There is a gas grill on each deck.

The cottage living/kitchen/dining areas are heated with wood stoves. We supply the firewood. Wi'Fi internet access is now available throughout the property.
